Overnight Oats
As the winter approaches oats are, in my view the perfect winter breakfast and what better way to start a cold, frosty morning than with a warming bowl of porridge?
Is there an easier more satisfying breakfast? Throw a few ingredients into a bowl at night, wake up in the morning and puff...creamy delicious porridge.
Ingredients
* Flax Meal – Full of omega-3 fatty acids – the good fat. lots of fiber too.
* Chia Seeds – Expand in your belly to help you feel fuller. and they’re adorable!
* Bee Pollen – Little bundles of scrumptious sweetness bursting with antioxidants.
* Oats
* Almond Milk
Add a little extra
Bananas, berries, figs, greek yogurt, cinnamon, pumpkin, cottage cheese, protein powder, honey, peanut butter......etc
Instructions
Start with a little almond milk on the bottom of your cup or bowl. Layer oats, flax meal, and chia seeds in whatever order you please. Refrigerate for about 3 hours or overnight.
In the morning, either heat for a few minutes or eat straight from the fridge!
Top with peanut butter, blueberries, banana, nuts...
